My name is Nate Jones. I hope you figured that out based on the domain name. I spend my days managing a graphic design and software development company called Skybend. We also have a niche tshirt business for graphic designers called Von Roxy. When time affords, and sometimes when it doesn’t, I ride my BMW K1200S motorcycle sporting a permanent grin. Every other minute of my time is spent in amazement of the daily accomplishments of my two daughters. The rate at which they learn is fascinating.

I once was once coerced into filling out a lame 25-random-things-about-me list on Facebook. I figured I would include it here, since it pretty much gives you a peek into my brain.

1. I’ve visited all 50 of the United States.
2. I love cooking for the creativity of it.
3. I love baking for the preciseness of it.
4. I went to a different elementary school every year.
5. I believe and trust in Karma.
6. I like to watch mediocre action movies. I think they’re entertaining.
7. I check my email on my phone constantly. I’m addicted.
8. I am, what most would consider, heavily tattooed. But they’re for me, so don’t ask to see them.
9. I hate wearing “adult clothes” (anything more than jeans and a t-shirt).
10. I don’t watch the news. I don’t need the negativity.
11. I hate tomatoes.
12. Riding my motorcycle is the only way I can turn off my brain and just be in the moment.
13. I want to move to Las Vegas, but obligations/commitments keep me in Utah.
14. I’m a control freak. I know you are all shocked.
15. I can’t read novels. It’s technical or business books for me.
16. I ran a half marathon in 108 degree weather.
17. I think smoking is the most inconsiderate habit there is.
18. I never know what to set my status to on Facebook.
19. I thank my father for instilling in me a great love of classical music. I listen to it when I need to pause and reset.
20. Most people who know me, have no clue what my job is, or what I do.
21. I love me the Red Box. Feeds my habit from #6.
22. I have hearing loss in my left ear from years of building competition class car audio systems. Oh, and I’m an MECP certified car audio installer.
23. I was screwed out of a Sterling Scholar award in high school because, and I quote, “she had better legs”. Who needs a full ride scholarship anyway. But, I was the state champion in drafting.
24. Mexican food all day every day? Count me in!
25. Yes, I have red hair and I married a redhead, get over it. And yes, we have two beautiful redhead daughters.
